CELEBRATING 18 YEARS OF GIVING
We are proud to announce our 2012 Champions for Charity® Holiday Shopping Benefit resulted in a $672,043 total donation to the participating not-for-profit organizations. A special thanks to all who registered and shopped! We salute you for being a Champion. Thank you for joining us in support of our community!
This annual holiday shopping benefit has been embraced by the community, growing to support over 90 not-for-profit organizations with the participation of over 70 Americana Manhasset and select Wheatley Plaza stores. Much happens during the shopping benefit; charity receptions, complimentary gift-wrapping, personal shopper and concierge services abound. The air is charged with excitement as shoppers purchase holiday gifts knowing they are helping their favorite charities at the same time.
Since its inception in 1996, Champions for Charity® has raised nearly 7 million dollars. Taking an active role in the community has been an integral part of Americana Manhasset's mission throughout its 55-year history.
How it works...
Participating Americana Manhasset and select Wheatley Plaza stores and restaurants donate a percentage of designated full-price pre-tax purchases to the participating organization of the customer's choice. Simply register for a complimentary CHAMPION CARD which is the quick and efficient way to participate in Champions for Charity® and designate 25% of your full-price pre-tax purchases to the charity of your choice.

Register for a complimentary Champion Card to participate in Champions for Charity® and to designate 25% of your full-price pre-tax purchases to the organization of your choice.
Registering for your Champion Card:
Registration for your 2013 CHAMPION CARD will begin early October, 2013. You may register online, by phone at 800.818.6767, or in person at Concierge Services located next to Theory on the south side. You will receive your CHAMPION CARD by November 25, 2013.
Here's how our Champion Card works:
CHAMPION CARD is not a charge card, debit card, or payment card of any kind.
When it is time to pay for your merchandise, give the sales associate your CHAMPION CARD and any method of payment. The associate will enter your Champion Number and full-price pre-tax purchase amount and return the card to you.
With this card, your charity donation is electronically calculated. Twenty-five percent of your full-price pre-tax purchase will automatically be credited to the organization of your choice.
