Champions for Charity®

Thursday, December 4th through Saturday, December 6th, Americana Manhasset hosted its 13th annual holiday shopping benefit, Champions for Charity® in support of over 70 local and national not-for-profit organizations. During this time, all participating tenants of Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza donated 25 percent of designated pre-tax purchases to the participating charities of the customer's choice. Since the program’s inception in 1996, Champions for Charity has been embraced by the community and has raised nearly $3.9 million dollars.

To kick off this much anticipated philanthropic event, Americana Manhasset hosted a special shopper's recognition breakfast on Thursday, December 4 at Toku Modern Asian. Also on Thursday morning, the Intermix boutique hosted a breakfast in support of Sunrise Day Camp and Salvatore Ferragamo supported the UJA Federation with a special breakfast in their store.
