2008 June 12 Hermès Party

On June 12th, Hermès celebrated the grand opening of its recently expanded 2,633 square foot boutique located on Americana Manhasset's north side. Guests were welcomed by boutique owner Priscilla Smith as well as Robert Chavez, President and CEO of Hermès USA. In keeping with Hermès' Indian themed summer campaign, the event featured a beautiful all-white tent with splashes of hot pink and orange. Turbaned waiters served caterer Chris Robbins' recreations of the inventive recipes of Indian chef Vikas Khanna while a sitar player kept the vibe distinctly Eastern. Proceeds from the evening benefitted the Maurer Foundation for Breast Health Education.
