Alexander Wang Spring 2018 - Runway Review
September 9, 2017

If anyone knows how to party, it certainly is Alexander Wang. For his spring outing, dubbed #WANGFEST, the designer put all his A-list model friends (clad in bedazzled tiaras) on a party bus and sent it out into Manhattan for two, 32-look, guerilla-style fashion shows that culminated with a dead end mega bash in Bushwick.
As exhausting as that all sounds, collection-wise, it was a strong outing for Wang. Though he doesn't necessarily break ground, the energy and youthful millennial spirit were spot-on, if not overly indulged, in this pretty directional collection. How Wang sent out his looks were how you would imagine his clients experimenting with their own wardrobes.
A lot of fun was had with denim, with Wang showing a skinny style with one leg covered in silver studs or shredded baggies with an easy drawstring waist.
