Boss Fall 2018 - Runway Review
February 13, 2018

With Jason Wu's tenure at German mega-brand Boss coming to a close with Fall 2018, the results of five years imprint has been one that has grown the womenswear division into a self-sufficient business rooted in signature tailoring with just the right flourish of pretty. Wu's swan song covered all the bases, but he relaxed things a tad both for day and evening. He expanded his suiting silhouette with a vest and trousers combination while working in a la carte pieces: checked trousers paired with a cobalt sweater, pleated pants with a button-down. If it sounds basic, well, it was simply Wu's interpretation of sophisticated chic. Punches of zebra, meanwhile, punctuated accessories and even the threads that unraveled from the shirt cuffs. Long, fluid satin dresses rounded up the evening offerings, proving that suits aren't everything.
