Brooks Brothers Spring 2020 - Runway Review
September 11, 2019

Fresh off a global whirlwind celebration of its 200th anniversary, Brooks Brothers revisited its deep roots in Americana for Spring with a collection showcasing all things red, white and blue. Highlighting the posh American summer spots of Southampton, Nantucket and Palm Beach, creative director Zac Posen made bold moves with his designs -- beyond the patchwork tweeds evoking the flag and pretty gingham patchworks, there was the White House printed on a toile. Scandalous!
Elevating the collection beyond the classic floral-embroidered sundresses and nautically striped shifts, Posen introduced decadent pearl and crystal embellishments that beautifully lined the collars and plackets of several pieces. A fabulous way to put your best foot forward -- First Lady or not.
