Brunello Cucinelli Spring 2020 - Runway Review
September 19, 2019

A back-to-nature element ran its way through the Brunello Cucinelli Spring 2020 presentation, an expression personified through the showcase of gorgeous wide-weave mohair sweaters. But wait, there was more. Linen jackets, striped pants and the brand's iconic Opera knits were all beautifully rendered in washed-out colors (particularly in berry) that sparkled just so and complemented by Lurex-flecked cashmere rib-knit leg warmers. All these, paired with Brunello Cucinelli rubber boots. Yes, indeed.
In keeping with clients's desire for more volume and shape, chic and luxurious pieces came in the form of paillette-scattered pleated skirts, short-suits and striped marinière sweaters that lent an air of '90s grunge with exquisite tailoring.
