Kiton Spring 2020 - Runway Review
September 20, 2019
The Capri colors that ran throughout Kiton's Spring 2020 presentation were pure energy and joy. A nod to the brand's Neapolitan roots, the garments were easy on the eyes and offered an upbeat take on exquisite tailoring (yes, we mean the sea-blue trench). Juxtaposing color-block looks with bold, 3-D patterns brought an overall '60s vibe to the collection, one that permeated long satin dresses and skirts. This being Kiton, the brand's core tailored suits remained a definitive focus. This season, they came inspired by the film "La Strega Bruciata Viva [The Witch Burned Alive" and realized in various forms: a white and red herringbone number shown alongside a double-breasted cashmere coat in white and blue.
