Rag & Bone Spring 2019 - Runway Review
September 6, 2018

Rag & Bone has always marched to a different beat. So it's no surprise that, for Spring 2019, founder Marcus Wainwright hosted a cocktail party on the High Line along with a screening of his latest film for the label -- starring the likes of Kate Mara, Lake Bell, Jon Hamm and Emma Roberts. Rag & Bone has, too, evolved from pure British military-inspired tailoring to the go-to of actresses off-duty. Tailoring exists, of course, in the form of pantsuits and denim separates. Coupled with knits and the ubiquitous tracksuit, the collection oozed with comfort and ease. A mauve-y pink corduroy suit made a lasting impression, as did a pretty white racerback pinafore dress. The latter represents an ever-growing segment in the Rag & Bone offering -- one element we look forward to seeing more of in successive seasons.
