Veronica Beard Fall 2019 - Runway Review
February 11, 2019

Luxury meets lumberjack? As Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard cheekily illustrated via their signature dickey, take it with a grain of salt. Zipped into a cropped houndstooth blazer, the quilted chambray "vest" dickey offered the warmth expected, but without the bulk. Functional, waterproof -- but still fun.
The Veronicas noted the fall collection was noteworthy for its "opulence meets outdoors" aesthetic, which informed in the most unlikely of contrasts. To wit, they took a glen plaid blazer and cinched it with a bungee cord belt and through on a pair of kitten heels with a brown leather boilersuit. Or how about a camouflage fleece quarter-zip tucked into a flowery skirt? The pieces will surprise and delight their customer come fall -- and that's a great thing!
