Michael Kors Hosts Fall 2018 Fashion Presentation

A picture perfect day greeted Michael Kors as the designer arrived at Americana Manhasset to host a special styling session and Fall 2018 presentation benefiting UJA-Federation of NY and Sunrise Day Camp. "Sleeves are trending!" "Wear your clothes!" the designer doted from behind his trademark aviator shades as a gaggle of clients arrived clad in the latest Michael Kors Collection pieces (many, straight off the runway).

"I mean, who doesn't look forward to fall," Kors quipped. "Cozy sweaters, being able to build a fire in the fireplace again and the holidays... the perfect trifecta!"

In lieu of the traditional meet-and-greet format of past visits, Kors opted to host a seated presentation to personally wax poetic on his newest collection -- a move that his adoring clients (and fans) were more than happy to receive. "The minute you put on something dotted..." began Kors as a model wafted out in a flirty black and white runway number. "It's fun, charming and romantic!" 

As for his key pieces every woman should own this fall? "The leopard trench coat, a floral silk dress (the red and black one I LOVE!) and tartan bell bottoms." It wasn't all fall florals, however, as Kors surprised those in attendance with a mini showcase of his upcoming Resort 2019 collection. 

And true to the Americana Manhasset ethos of providing a superior customer experience, Kors concurred that a truly luxurious shopping experience necessitates client service and knowledge of product, adding with his signature smile, "Knowledge is power!"
