Meet our Team
Our wonderful and diverse team of Personal Shoppers all have one important thing in common. They are dedicated to you, our customer.
I have been a personal shopper for 26 years and Americana’s Director of Personal Shopping Services for 12 years. Getting to know my clients is what interests me most, and being a good listener is crucial. I love hearing about what makes them happy, in life and in fashion! But I also ask about their insecurities because I want to make sure I’m helping them feel their best. I don’t want to set up a room with sleeveless items if my client is insecure about her arms!
Fashion keeps me on my toes because it is a constant evolution and a reflection of the times. It doesn’t exist in a vacuum and it’s always reinventing itself, just like us! This season the mood is flirty, but who knows how the winds will blow next
I have been with Americana Manhasset for 3 years and I love when my clients express confidence. It’s always great to hear them tell me, “I would never have picked that out myself, but I love wearing it,” because that means I’m helping them expand their comfort zone.
My favorite thing about fashion is that there is never a dull moment! This season I’m particularly excited about both the ‘90’s flashback trend and the off-the-shoulder look that many designers -- from Michael Kors to Alice & Olivia -- are showcasing. It’s feminine and sexy without showing too much.
I enjoy getting to know my clients and their families, their likes and dislikes. After all, getting personal is part of being a good personal shopper! I tend to ask a lot of questions, such as whether you’re drawn to color or to neutrals and if you have particular designers that you love. Asking about someone’s favorite pair of shoes can tell you a lot about them!
I love how history repeats itself in fashion. Past styles come back, but always with an interesting twist.
I’ve been with Americana Manhasset for 5 years. The best thing about being part of the Americana Personal Shopping team is witnessing a client’s happiness after finding the perfect outfit or gift for someone special. Every client is unique, and it’s very satisfying to get to know someone well enough to help him or her find and develop their own personal style.
I find it interesting how designers interpret what’s going on in the world in fascinating and often fun ways.
